Add to Calendar Button for Calendars
An add to calendar button is a great way to share a subscription calendar on your website or landing page. AddEvent’s add to calendar button works perfectly with most website and landing page builders, as well as with custom-built websites.
How to Add the Add to Calendar Button on a Website
From the Calendar page:
- Scroll down to the Add to Calendar button section.
- Choose from the styles provided, copy the text in the box, and then click Copy in the top right corner.
- Paste the code into your website where you want the add-to-calendar button to appear.
Users can click the link for their preferred calendar service to be redirected and given the option to subscribe or follow your calendar.
If you enable anonymous subscriptions, users will be taken directly to their chosen calendar service to add the events without providing any additional information.
If you prefer to collect user data upon subscription, users will first be directed to a calendar landing page. Here, they will be prompted to enter the information you specify (such as name or email) before subscribing to the calendar.

When embedding the links on your website, use options like “Custom embed” or “HTML embed” to paste the code into the appropriate section.
