QR Codes for Events
AddEvent provides a QR you can use to easily share the event landing page with your users! Possible use cases might be to put it on physical objects, like flyers, or Hyperlink the image so a user can still tap the QR code (if viewing it on their phone's email app) or scan it from their computer screen using their phone.
Sharing the QR Code

To locate an event's QR code, open the landing page for the event.

To view the event's landing page, navigate to the Event details page by clicking the event's title from the Dashboard. Then, click either of the open link icons located to the right of the generic or short link:

On the event landing page, click the Share Icon(
) in the top right-hand corner of the event's details. -
Copy the QR code image, and then paste it wherever you'd like it to be accessible by your users.
Use Case Ideas

- Recurring Podcast: Flyers or on social posts.
- Local Event: Put it on flyers and hang them up around town.
- Special Promotion at a restaurant: Put it on your menu.
QR codes are not a ticket or check-in code! The QR code behaves exactly the same way as the event landing page links. They allow a different format so you can share your event in creative ways.
