RSVP Button and Links for RSVP Events
This help doc explains how to use RSVP buttons and links to share your event. An RSVP button is ideal for sharing an event in email newsletters, campaigns, or on your website or landing page. AddEvent’s RSVP button is compatible with most email marketing tools, website builders, and custom-built websites, making it easy to collect RSVP responses.
What Happens When Users Click an RSVP Button?
When users click an RSVP button, they are directed to the RSVP landing page, where they can provide the required information and select their attendance status: “Going,” “Interested,” or “Can’t go.” After registering, they see an add to calendar button, allowing them to save the event directly to their calendar.
Adding an RSVP Button to Your Event Page
To add an RSVP button from your event page:
- Scroll down to RSVP Button section of your event page.
- Choose from the eight available button styles.
- Click Copy in the top right corner to copy the button code.
Using an RSVP Button in Emails
To include an RSVP button in an email:
- Paste the code you copied from the event page directly into your email.
When recipients click the RSVP button in the email, they will be directed to the RSVP landing page where they can complete their registration.
Adding an RSVP Button to a Website
To add an RSVP button to your website:
- Paste the copied code into the location on your website where you want the RSVP button to appear.
Using a website or landing page builder?
If you are using a website or landing page builder, you will probably need to use the “Custom embed”, ”HTML embed”, or similar option to allow you to paste the code into that section of the website.
With these steps, your attendees will have an easy way to register for your event and add it to their calendars. For further details on customizing your RSVP landing page, click here.
