Organizer Notifications
This help doc explains how the event organizer can be notified of new RSVPs and how the event's attendance list can be shared with additional parties.
Setting Up Notifications for New RSVPs
To receive notifications when someone RSVPs, follow these steps:
- Go to your Event page where you are managing RSVPs.
- Scroll to the RSVP and settings section.
- Click on the Notification tab.
Selecting Notification Options
There are 3 notification options to choose from:
- No Notifications
- Choose this option if you prefer to check RSVPs manually. You can view them anytime in the RSVP and Settings section of your event page.
- Each New RSVP
- Select this option to receive an individual email notification every time someone RSVPs for your event.
- Summary of RSVPs
- Select this option to receive a daily summary email listing all new RSVPs received that day.
Adding Email Recipients for Notifications
If you select Each New RSVP or Summary of RSVPs notifications, you’ll need to enter at least one email address in the Send to section to receive these emails. You can enter multiple email addresses, separating them with commas.
Sharing the Attendee List with a URL
To provide the attendee list to someone who does not have an AddEvent account:
- Use the Attendees list URL provided in the Notifications section.
- This link allows access to the attendee information and can be shared with non-account holders.
Refreshing the Attendee List URL for Temporary Access
If you want to provide temporary access to the attendee list, you can refresh the link token. Refreshing the link expires previous links, giving a new link for secure sharing.
By setting up notifications and using the attendee list link, you can easily manage new RSVPs and securely share event details with additional parties.
