Delete a Calendar
This help doc explains how you can delete a calendar inside the dashboard in AddEvent.
Deleted calendars and events cannot be recovered - delete with caution!
Deleting a calendar
From the dashboard:
- Locate the calendar you want to delete in the list of calendars.
- Click the three dots to the right of the calendar, and a context menu will appear. click the "Calendar page" option.
- On the Calendar page, locate the Actions menu on the top right. Click the option Delete to delete the calendar.
If the Delete option is grayed out then your calendar is the Primary calendar and it can't be deleted. You can set a different calendar as your Primary calendar which will enable the option to delete the calendar.
What Happens When a Calendar is Deleted
When you delete a calendar, all events, all event attendee details that would come from an RSVP-enabled event, and calendar subscribers are permanently deleted.
The active calendar subscribers in the calendar(s) that is deleted will be reflected in the account's ongoing usage category: calendar subscribers. However, RSVPs or event usage will not be decreased - the only exception is if you delete a calendar that includes event(s) that were created in the current billing/usage period that were not interacted with (no event-adds or RSVPs).
