Embed on SharePoint

This help doc will show you how to embed AddEvent solutions in the SharePoint site editor.

  1. Log into your SharePoint account.
  2. Go to the SharePoint page where you want to embed the iframe with the AddEvent embeddable calendar, event, or event list.
  3. Click Edit to enter edit mode.
  4. Add an Embed Web Part:
    1. Click the + icon to add a new web part.
    2. Select the Embed web part from the available options.
  5. Paste the Embed Code:
    1. In the Embed web part, you can paste the iframe code directly in the format.

      <iframe=src=“<https://your-addevent-embeddable-url.com>” width=“600" height=“400”/>
    2. You can adjust the src, width, and height attributes to fit your needs.

  6. Adjust Settings (if needed):
    1. Sometimes, SharePoint restricts certain iframes from displaying for security reasons. Make sure the URL is secure (HTTPS) and from a trusted domain.
    2. You may also need to adjust the settings in SharePoint Admin Center if external content is being blocked.
  7. Publish the Page:
    1. After inserting the iframe, click Publish to make it live.

If you run into issues with permissions or security warnings, you may need to check with your SharePoint administrator to ensure the domain is approved for embedding.
