How to Apply a Custom Color to a Calendar or Event

You can apply a color to your calendars and events to enhance organization within your AddEvent Dashboard. Learn how to do so below with our detailed steps.

Where can I save a custom color palette?

Within your Account and settings page, you will find within the Settings tab an option to save a custom color palette. These colors can be applied to any calendar or event.

To save a custom color palette, follow the below steps.

  1. Click the circle icon located on the bottom-left corner of the Dashboard.

  2. Select the Account and settings option from the dropdown.

  3. Select the Settings tab.

  4. Scroll down to the Color palette section and click the pen icon.

  5. Select the option to Use a custom color palette and click the down arrow located to the right.

  6. Click any default color to customize it by either entering a hex code or by using the color scale.

  7. Click the Use color button to save your custom color.

  8. Once you're finished customizing the colors, click the Save button.


How do I apply a custom color to my calendar or event?

  1. For calendars and events, click the calendar's/event's title that you wish to apply a color to from the Dashboard.

  2. From the following Calendar/Event details page, select the three dots icon located to the right of the calendar's/event's title, and then click Edit option.

  3. Select the colored circle located directly to the left of the calendar's/event's title and select your preferred color.

  4. At the bottom of the page, click the Save calendar or Save event button.
